"...For a first resin doll designed by a new artist, Espoir is impressive. Her unusual body poses very well and the lines of her figure in space are quite sculptural. While she is not a doll that can wear just anything “off the rack” , something should be available that would suit her. Most of all, she has “personality” . Her odd charms have grown on me since she has arrived. I look forward to my quest to outfit her in a way that suits her uniqueness. A special doll deserves a special outfit!..."

"...Gertie is my first BJD. Completely sculpted by myself. She is named for my grandmother who taught me how to sew and always encouraged my creativity. She took almost a year to complete from start to finish. It has been quite a journey seeing her go from clay to resin. I learned a lot while making her. She is my whimsical little chubby girl. When I was designing her, I really wanted something different. I wanted my dolls to be a little quirky but loveable..."

"...Mayfair is very pose-able and her unusual figure, designed for a tight corset, is graceful and elegant. She would look wonderful in period styles. As Mayfair has unusual proportions, I didn’t have anything for her to wear in a photo shoot on short notice, so I photographed her wearing nothing but wigs..."

"... Asella is also an amazing designer. She designs and makes all her doll outfits. Her tiny corsets have the detail one would find in human clothing. Absolutely incredible! I am so happy to be able  bring Asella and her dolls to an American and wider international audience.  There really are no other dolls like hers in the marketplace, they are so unique and exotic..."

"...Blythe and Jenny still hold a very special place in my heart, and I have kept all of my collection, but there is something really wonderful about resin. The look and feel is so different from other dolls! BJDs are much more versatile to create clothing for, with the different body types and faces. I like being able to have a variety of looks to work with, and having numerous styles of BJDs help keep designing interesting for me..."

"...Over a year ago, doll artist Kaye Wiggs mentioned that she had started sculpting a new doll and was thinking of making a new tall thin body for her. When she was almost completed, photos of the 54 cm tall doll, now named “Tobi”, were sent to me. Unlike most of Kaye’s earlier BJDs, Tobi is a character doll with an unusual angular face and gangly limbs..."

"...At that time only a few casting companies offered casting services, so I started to seek for more info. Also tiny Lidia Snul’s mouse was released at JPop Dolls at that time, and customers noted the high quality of the casting. So I thought it would be a good choice for my tiny doll too. I offered Manuna Mouse to Grace. We discussed details, and the doll went to the production..."
